Shipping

MOST IMPORTANT: Make sure your shipping address is correct on the shopping cart checkout page. This is the address we ship to.

DAMAGED PACKAGE

If you receive a damaged package, you have two choices:

Choice 1) Refuse delivery.

Simply refuse delivery of the package and it will be returned to Manzano Laser Works. Upon receipt of the returned package, we will ship a replacement kit. Send us an email so that we know it's being returned, and we get your replacement kit shipped sooner.

Choice 2) Accept delivery at your responsibility.

If you accept delivery of a visibly-damaged package, you accept responsibility for damage to the contents. If there are damaged parts, let us know and we will ship replacement parts at your cost.

DAMAGED CONTENTS

Sometimes a kit may be damaged in shipment, with no visible damage to the packing carton. Send us a photo of the carton and the damaged parts and we will replace the damaged parts.

GENERAL SHIPPING INFORMATION

Manzano Laser Works ships only with the US Postal Service using insured Priority Mail. We ship all kits via insured USPS mail in heavy cardboard cartons. This method provides the ability for us to insure your order and for you to track it. You will receive a shipping notice from us when we print the shipping label. The notice will contain your tracking number.

Shipping charges are based on the dimensional weight of the package, and the delivery zone (distance from our shop). When viewing the shopping cart you can see the calculated shipping cost for your order.

If your order is for two or more items, we will try to place all items in one package to save postage charges. Excess charges will be refunded to the buyer.

PACKAGE TRACKING

When we ship your package, we email a shipping notification to you with the USPS tracking number. Tracking information becomes available when our local post office scans the incoming package, usually by 5 PM Mountain Time on the day of shipping.

If you established an account with us prior to ordering a kit, the package tracking information is also available in your account.

If your package does not arrive in a timely manner please notify us. We will check with the postmaster to determine where your package is or if it is lost. If the package is lost, we will either send you a new order or refund your order. Please be aware that a claim for a missing package can take 30 or more days to process.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We ship to all countries that are members of the Universal Postal Union, currently 192 countries. See the upu.int website for a list of the member countries.

All international shipping is by insured US Priority Mail, and is quite expensive.

For overseas orders your package may be delayed due to customs in your country. Any taxes, duties or fees charged by your country are your responsibility.

PORCH PIRATES!

PORCH PIRACY reaches epidemic proportions during holiday seasons! Here are some things you can do to lessen the chances of having your package stolen by porch pirates:

1. Track your package using the US Postal Service tracking number that we provide so that you know when the package is to be delivered.

2. Sign up for the free US Postal Service "Informed Delivery Daily Digest" at https://informeddelivery.usps.com. Informed Delivery shows your which mail items are scheduled to be delivered each day, and allows you to reschedule deliveries or add delivery instructions such as "leave package at back door".

3. Have packages delivered to your place of work, or to a family member or neighbor who will be at home.

4. Use an alternative delivery service.
