PORCH PIRACY is reaching epidemic proportions this holiday season! Here are some things you can do to lessen the chances of having your package stolen by porch pirates:

1. Track your package using the US Postal Service tracking number that we provide so that you know when the package is to be delivered.

2. Sign up for the free US Postal Service "Informed Delivery Daily Digest" at Informed Delivery shows your which mail items are scheduled to be delivered each day, and allows you to reschedule deliveries or add delivery instructions such as "leave package at back door".

3. Have packages delivered to your place of work, or to a family member or neighbor who will be at home.

If you receive a damaged package, you have two choices:

Choice 1) Open the package and inspect for damages.

Many times, the kit contents are not damaged even when the package is crushed. But if you do find damaged parts, take photos of the damaged box and the damaged parts. Send the photos and a description of the damage to us at [email protected] so that we can file an insurance claim. Retain the damaged box and parts in case your local post office requires an inspection of the damages.

Once we receive your photos and description of the damage, we will ship replacements for the damaged parts.

Choice 2) Refuse delivery.

Simply refuse delivery of the package and it will be returned to Manzano Laser Works. Upon receipt of the returned package, we will ship a replacement kit.


Sometimes a kit may be damaged in shipment, with no visible damage to the packing carton. Send us a photo of the carton and the damaged parts and we will replace the damaged parts.


Manzano Laser Works ships only with the US Postal Service using Priority Mail or Parcel Select service. We ship all kits via insured USPS mail in heavy cardboard cartons. This method provides the ability for us to insure your order and for you to track it. You will receive a shipping notice from us when we print the shipping label. The notice will contain your tracking number.

Shipping charges are based on the total cost of the items in your order. When viewing the shopping cart you can see the calculated shipping cost for your order.

If your package does not arrive in a timely manner please notify us. We will check with the postmaster to determine where your package is or if it is lost. If the package is lost, we will either send you a new order or refund your order. Please be aware that a claim for a missing package can take 30 or more days to process.


All international shipping is by insured US Priority Mail, and is quite expensive. (International First Class Package Mail is not available due to package sizes.)

For overseas orders your package may be delayed due to customs in your country. Any taxes or fees charged by your country are your responsibility.
