The Flummox design originated 25 or so years ago as a 1/2A powered 3 ch. model. But with the availability and practicality of modern electric power and sub-micro R/C equipment, Pat Tritle thought it might be a good time to raise it back up as an E-powered 4 channel Park Flyer. This time power is supplied by an E-Flite 250 Outrunner with a 1320 mah 2S Lipo. Control is by way of 2 each 9 gram servos for the rudder and elevator, and a pair of 6 gram aileron servos. Construction is light and simple, and the result is a slick looking aerobatic Park Flyer. And with a wingspan of 36", the model is large enough to fly well, yet small enough to fly in relatively small fields. Short kit includes laser-cut balsa and plywood parts, vacuum-formed canopy, wheel pants and spinner, and printed plans.
