Replacement cowl for Pat Tritle's Staaken Flitzer. This is a two-piece cowl formed from .040 PETG plastic. The cowl is formed in two parts to keep the mount area thick and tough.
Trim the cowl to form the male and female edges, then sand the areas to be bonded. Tape the cowl together using the prop hole for your reference. Using thin CA, bond the cowl from the hole to the edge then do it again going the other way. Apply spot filler to the seam, sand and prime.
Note that the cowl has about 1/4 inch extra material at the firewall to adjust for the prop shaft placement.
