The Flitzer is a 1:4 scale Park Flyer designed by Pat Tritle! It's a British Homebuilt designed around the 65 hp Volkswagen engine. The model has a 54" wingspan and tips the scales in the low - mid 50 oz. range. And with over 900 sq. inches of wing area it is a real floater even at that. Power comes from a 2820 outrunner, starting with 2 cells, but can go to 3 cells if need be.
Our short kit includes more than a dozen sheets of laser-cut balsa and plywood, plus a vacuum-formed cowling. The kit also includes the wood parts necessary to build 5-1/2" wheels with 1/2" neoprene cord for the tires.
