Scale model of the FMA IA-58 Pucara, designed by Sergio Piccinelli. The Pucara is an Argentine twin turbo-prop ground attack/COIN aircraft that found fame in the Malvinas/Falklands War of 1982. The Pucara was also operated by the air forces of Colombia, Uruguay and Sri Lanka, and saw combat in the Sri Lankan civil war.
The model is designed for two glow engines. Electric power conversion parts are available as an option. Our short kit includes laser-cut balsa and plywood parts, full-size printed plans, and vacuum-formed canopy and cowls. STL files for 3D printing of a scale cockpit, lights and armament are available - see the Instructions tab for a link.
