The Druine Turbulent is a 30 hp Volkswagen engine powered single seat ultra-lite low wing monoplane designed by Roger Druine that first flew in 1951. With a wingspan of just 21' 5", the design makes for a terrific 1:6 scale (42.9" span) 4-channel model flyer.
This scale model was designed by Pat Tritle as an electric-powered park flyer. The short kit includes full-size printed plans and laser-cut balsa and plywood parts. Builders may wish to add an available 3D printed engine - see the Instructions tab for links.
