Sport 1/6 scale WWI German fighter aircraft, designed by M. K. Bengtson. The design features:
- Sheeted former, stringer, keel fuselage construction
- Fully scale horizontal and vertical stabilizer
- Ribs are undercambered with carbon fiber spars in scale location including mini spars near trailing edges
- Horizontal and vertical stabilizers are featured in scale profile
- Internal rudder control
- Full scale like pull pull aileron control with optional in wing servos
- Fully articulated tail skid with elastic cord shock absorber
- Dummy motor, pilot figure and machine guns
- Detachable wings featuring the scale under camber airfoils and built in scale washout
- Built-up balsa and plywood wheels with neoprene tires
Our short kit includes only laser-cut balsa and plywood, and full-size printed plans. This is a "prototype design", meaning that an example kit has not been completed by a builder, there is no instruction manual available, and the kit is most suitable for experienced builders who are able to make minor adjustments and source materials needed for completion.
